COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION AMMONIUM CHLORIDE, TECHNICAL
The General Service Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description by all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers technical ammonium chloride in brick form for use in cleaning soldering irons and in white crystal form for use in batteries and for galvanizing purposes.
2. CLASSIFICATION. The technical ammonium chloride shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.1).
Type I - Ammonium chloride brick.
Type II - Ammonium chloride white crystal.
2.1 Unit weight. The unit weight shall be of the following weights, as specified (6.1).
