4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Material safety data sheet. A material safety data sheet, in accordance with 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.1200, shall be supplied in accordance with the terms of the contract.
4.2 Marking, packaging, and labeling. Material shall be labeled, packed and marked in accordance with 49 CFR, parts 100 to 185.
4.3 Registration. The naphthalene shall be registered with the EPA and labeled pursuant to
40 CFR 152.
4.4 Recycled materials. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
5. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
5.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description, conform to the producer's own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
5.2 Market acceptability. The item offered must have been sold to the government or commercial market.
6. PACKAGING. Preservation, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.

7.1 Source of documents. Copies of federal documents are available from Superintendent of
Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402.
7.2 Ordering data. Acquisition documents must specify the following:
a. Title, number, and date of this CID. b. Class (see 2).
c. Unit weight and unit quantity required. d. Packaging requirements (see 6).
